What You Will Do
- Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
- Manage a regional LQA organization that includes people managers, individual contributors, and vendor resources.
- Lead and mentor direct reports, including LQA Managers and Associate Managers, ensuring development, retention, and consistent performance.
- Support training plans, hiring initiatives, and talent development within the regional LQA function.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and feedback-driven team culture with a focus on performance, mentorship, and growth.
- Strategic Planning & Business Operations
- Contribute to the departmental strategic planning process, providing input on staffing needs, tooling requirements, and budget forecasting.
- Set and align team-level goals with departmental OKRs, managing schedules, work plans, and delivery metrics across projects.
- Partner with senior Global Loc leadership to scale tooling, automation, and people operations as the LQA function expands.
- Operate with significant latitude for decision-making, especially in areas of vendor oversight, issue escalation, and test strategy.
- Quality Governance & Process Evolution
- Oversee and evolve core workflows (test planning, triage, cross-regional bug handling, and reporting), ensuring quality across languages.
- Review team KPIs, issue patterns, and milestone outcomes to drive continuous process and quality improvement.
- Serve as a key escalation point for sensitive LQA issues—voice quality, localization bugs, systemic vendor problems, etc.
- Executive Stakeholder Alignment
- Collaborate with senior production, QA, content, and engineering stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with risk and release velocity.

- Technical foresight to partner effectively with Global Loc leadership and engineering to identify, design, and scale advanced tooling and automation solutions as the LQA function expands.
- Leadership
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a subordinate leadership team (LQA Managers and Associate Managers), ensuring consistent management practices, performance, and succession planning.
- Strong capability in driving regional hiring initiatives, designing robust training plans, and expanding people operations to meet the rigorous demands of a rapidly growing LQA function.
- Executive-level oversight of extensive vendor resources, ensuring external partners consistently meet rigid quality standards and integrate seamlessly into internal LQA frameworks.
- Strategic Influence/Business Acumen
- The business acumen to actively contribute to high-level departmental strategic planning, accurately forecasting operational budgets, staffing needs, and tooling investments for the region.
- The strategic capability to define, manage, and execute team-level goals that perfectly synchronize with broader departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and overarching delivery metrics.
- The ability to partner seamlessly with senior Production, QA, Content, and Engineering stakeholders, ensuring global test coverage safely aligns with product risk profiles and high-speed release velocity.
