What We’re Looking For:

Our Email Specialist is responsible for the successful execution of the marketing email and SMS tactics and strategy, as well as ad hoc email campaigns both within and outside of marketing, consulting to and monitoring email in these teams. The Email Specialist has to stay up to date with the latest email trends and will make use of their expert knowledge and work with members within marketing, creative studios and other departments sending emails to mitigate risks, test opportunities, optimise and improve emails from all departments making use of the email software.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Execute and report on standard and ad hoc email campaigns, within and outside of the marketing division.
  • Collaborating with enabling departments to optimise design and layout of emails in all other departments making use of email software.
  • Make use of in depth email and system knowledge for assistance, quality assurance and risk mitigation in all other departments making use of email software.
  • Onboard and train new team members of different departments making use of the email software.
  • Stay up to date with the latest email trends, and look for and test opportunities to improve emails.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar required
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience deploying, developing and optimizing email campaigns
  • Proven execution & understanding of email best practices
  • Familiar with A/B testing best practices
  • Good knowledge of HTML
  • Must be a team-player, able to effectively communicate with various departments/stakeholders
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, and a “get-it-done’ attitude
  • Highly proactive, self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team atmosphere.
  • Comfortable working with complex concepts and distilling them into sound deliverables.
  • Enthusiastic and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($88,800.00 - $100,100.00), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
