Agility’s commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.

About the Role

Agility Robotics is deploying humanoid robots that are solving real-world challenges in logistics and manufacturing. Perceiving and understanding the world is critical to Digit’s success in these applications. The Enterprise Applications team is looking for a Staff PLM Architect to help build core systems and improve our work from the ground up.

Everyone at Agility Robotics is a stakeholder and a partner. Enterprise Applications at Agility has a diverse range of functions, including support of MRP/ERP solutions, RFQ/RFP of in use or new products to align business teams, systems architecture, PLM, and scaling our manufacturing operations.

We are seeking a Staff PLM Architect to lead the design, deployment, and continuous evolution of our enterprise Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for our Windchill, Creo, and Jama platforms. In this role you will bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and IT to deliver scalable, integrated solutions that accelerate product development and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT leadership — translating complex business requirements into robust architectural solutions while driving PLM best practices across the organization.

About the Work

  • Architect and own the end-to-end PLM landscape, including Windchill configuration, data models, workflows, and integrations with ERP, CAD, and MES systems.
  • Define PLM standards, templates, and best practices; establish change management processes for BOM structures, engineering change orders (ECOs), and document control.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable PLM architecture and process designs.
  • Drive system integrations between Windchill/Creo and downstream enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP/MES) assisting engineers to design our APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
  • Lead upgrades, migrations, and new module rollouts — from scoping and architecture through user acceptance testing and go-live support.
  • Mentor junior PLM analysts and administrators; provide technical guidance and review architectural decisions across the team.
  • Establish KPIs for PLM health, adoption, and data quality; produce executive-level reporting on platform performance and roadmap progress.

About You

  • 8–12 years of experience in enterprise PLM architecture and implementation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with PTC Windchill, including data modeling, workflow configuration, access control, and CAD integration (Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of BOM management (eBOM, mBOM, sBOM), ECO/ECR processes, document control, and configuration management.
  • Experience architecting and implementing PLM integrations with ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including NPI, production readiness, and supply chain workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to present complex architectural trade-offs to both technical and executive audiences.

Bonus Points

  • PTC Windchill certification or equivalent formal PLM platform credentials.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts: digital thread, digital twin, and IoT data integration with PLM.
  • Exposure to Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks and enterprise architecture methodologies (TOGAF or similar).
  • Requirements management familiarity
  • Creo
  • Familiarity of integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (terraform, AWS, Workato, Okta Workflows, or similar), and data transformation.

Location

  • This is a fully remote role with the option to work hybrid if a commutable distance from our Salem, OR, Pittsburgh, PA, or Fremont, CA offices.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range may change based on geographical location and may be modified in the future.
