Appian's Marketing team is the strategic and creative engine driving our global brand and growth. We are seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and help drive strategic projects across the marketing organization.

This is a high-visibility, hybrid administrative and operational role for an ambitious professional who excels in strategy, project management, and organizational efficiency. In this role, you will build collaboration across and beyond the marketing organization to create and drive critical initiatives. About the Role

CMO Calendar & Travel Support: Manage the CMO’s dynamic calendar while seamlessly coordinating domestic and international travel and timely expense reports.

Team Calendaring: Provide scheduling support for the broader marketing leadership team.

Planning Cycle Management: Act as an operational partner during corporate and marketing planning cycles, tracking deliverables and managing timelines.

Internal Communications & Engagement: Drive alignment across the company by orchestrating regular exec updates, monthly department meetings and more.

Operational Efficiency: Optimize day-to-day operations across the marketing organization by proactively anticipating the leadership team’'s needs.

Project Management: Partner with the CMO to drive key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects across the Marketing department from inception to execution.

Strategic Liaison: Act as a key partner to the CMO, keeping them proactively informed of upcoming commitments and priorities while ensuring seamless, timely follow-ups.

Confidentiality: Handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Basic Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a high-level executive assistant, marketing operations, or project management role, preferably supporting C-suite leadership in a fast-paced technology environment.

Project & Time Management: A proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to balance competing priorities, track complex project timelines, and execute with flawless attention to detail.

Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Tech Savviness: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, combined with an aptitude for quickly mastering new operational platforms, tools, and internal applications.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

The base salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.

Base Salary Range

$80,000—$150,000 USD
