About the role
You will join the Analysis and Contextual Experience team, which is responsible for the autofill engine and proactive security features at the core of the in-browser product experience. Our goal is to improve the online browsing experience of our users, leveraging cutting-edge technology to help them access services more quickly and easily while keeping them safer online. This encompasses ML-based webpage analysis for autofill and phishing detection, as well as in-browser nudges and alerts that guide the user to stronger credential security habits.
As a junior web software engineer, you will contribute to developing the Dashlane browser extension by building and integrating our innovative solutions in a smooth in-browser user experience. You will combine frontend expertise with a forward-thinking AI mindset, integrating GenAI tools throughout the SDLC to accelerate development velocity while working in a deeply collaborative team to secure millions of digital identities.
Location-Specific Information:
You will be based in Paris, with a hybrid policy (3 office days / week) and English as your working language. At Dashlane, we embrace a hybrid culture that combines the best of both worlds: the creativity and energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting individual productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.
Our stack:
Programming language: Typescript, Javascript, React, RxJS

Build: Rspack, Webpack, Nx (monorepo)
Versioning: Gitlab
Monitoring: ELK, Omni
Documentation and tooling: Confluence, Zoom, Slack
Misc: Gitlab CI, PNPM
AI : Claude Code
In your role, you will:
Work deep in the browser-extension stack: content scripts, service workers, Manifest V3 APIs, isolated worlds, and iframe hierarchies.
Strengthen security features such as anti-phishing / phishing resistance, and help explore new privacy layers (e.g. data-loss prevention for AI tools).
Building and integrating innovative features based on local analysis of in-browser context using state of the art solutions including custom trained models and genAI models
Implement projects end-to-end: write clean code, easy to maintain and understand, implement tests, and manage deployment. You will lean on AI coding platforms like Claude Code to streamline this lifecycle, driving development velocity while maintaining high code quality.
