Analyst, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence
Summary/Objective:
The Operational Excellence (OpEX) team is constructing a foundational, scalable, and agile operations platform for Factor that supports market share growth and enables best-in-class customer experience.
We are looking for an Analyst, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence to join the team. You will be working on cross-functional transformation projects for our Factor business. Within this role you will provide analyses and support projects aimed at solving complex problems impacting our operations and customer experience.
Reporting to the Associate Director, OpEX, you will play a key role in improving Customer Experience and errors reporting, data consolidation, and troubleshooting any issues as they arise.
You will work closely with local and network planning, launch teams, automation and engineering, and maintenance, reliability, and engineering (M&RE) teams to improve the critical input metrics for the DC by prioritizing and channeling resources to address gaps in these inputs.
Essential Functions
- Provide analytics on a variety of fulfillment and customer topics, including customer reported errors, forecasted volumes, and fulfillment planning inputs.
- Improve our analytics capability: identify inefficiencies and gaps within our analytics process and work to streamline and improve the way the team operates.
- Exemplify best practice: develop processes, analysis methodologies and dashboards to increase efficiency and consistency within the fulfillment functions.
- Enable data-drivenness for better decisions making: create innovative solutions that enable colleagues to easily track, report and identify trends and opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities: analyze business performance to identify opportunities to invest operations resources more efficiently.
- Use your technical skills: quickly learn about our data infrastructure, extract and aggregate data with complex SQL queries, make clear summaries for stakeholders in visualization software, or apply advanced analytics methodologies using Python/R where appropriate
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with ERP or WMS systems; ability to perform accurate data entry and transaction auditing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working on a production or warehouse floor in a fast-paced, perishable goods environment
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
