Role Overview
As a Lead Client Partner for Key Accounts in the Greater China Region (GCR), you will develop and grow strategic partnerships with our most valued export advertisers — with a particular focus on Retail and Ecommerce clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact, working at the intersection of business strategy, media expertise, and platform innovation to help clients achieve their growth ambitions on Pinterest.
In this role, you will combine deep commercial acumen, data-driven storytelling, and full-funnel platform expertise to drive sustainable revenue growth and deliver measurable outcomes for clients. You will operate at a senior level — influencing C-suite stakeholders, shaping multi-year account strategies, and acting as a bridge between client needs and Pinterest's internal capabilities across Product, Measurement, Creative, and Performance Solutions.
This is a high-impact, externally-facing role that requires both strategic vision and executional excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Own the long-term strategic growth agenda for a portfolio of top-tier Greater China export advertisers, setting joint partnership objectives, defining success metrics, and driving sustained investment growth on Pinterest.
- Operate 6–12 months ahead of client planning cycles — anticipating business needs, aligning pitches to annual and quarterly planning cadences, and proactively shaping how clients think about Pinterest within their broader media mix.
- Build and own executive-level relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders at flagship partner organizations, serving as Pinterest's most senior external face and ultimate point of accountability for the partnership.
- Identify and lead new business opportunities within and beyond existing accounts — expanding into new budget pools, lines of business, and untapped use cases to drive incremental revenue growth.
- Serve as the final escalation point for client issues, marshaling the right internal resources across Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, and Performance Solutions to resolve complex challenges.
- Engage cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for client needs, influence Pinterest's product roadmap, and unlock bespoke solutions for top-tier partners.
- Define and drive multi-year learning agendas in partnership with clients, establishing a joint measurement system of truth and guiding executive-level investment decisions based on strategic insights.
- Represent Pinterest externally at industry events, client forums, and key vertical initiatives — shaping Pinterest's market narrative and building a broad network across the GCR Retail and Ecommerce ecosystem.
- Champion Pinterest's full suite of advertising solutions — including upper-funnel brand, lower-funnel performance, and AI-powered products — at the executive level, translating platform innovation into business value for clients.
- Integrate AI tools and workflows into how you manage and grow client partnerships, identifying opportunities to use AI-driven insights to inform strategic recommendations and accelerate client outcomes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Client Account Managers and other team members, elevating the overall quality of client delivery and fostering a high-performance team culture.
